New Folks to the Farm
Kyle & Stacie Sherman bought the former Lummus home. If you have not had a chance to say hello, go by and do so.

Neighborhood Vandalism
Did you see the new gate? It’s a beauty that 4 Sure Gates installed this month replacing the old one. Why, you ask? Well, over the Thanksgiving Holiday, someone (who has yet to fess up) hit and ruined the old one. If you know of who did this, the Board has a bill for them.

2016 was not the best year for our life here at the Farm. The Richardson’s had some jerks drive over their lawn more than once. The Howey’s had the pleasure of someone demolishing their mailbox at 1am. One neighbor believes it was a black 4 door pickup, possibly a Nissan Titan that they saw running from the scene. Folks, this is someones friend that did this. Do the right thing and have them repair the damage.

Wood Fencing
You might have noticed some cropped up this past year. The first was the Darden Property to mask off the attractive nuisance that is the un-monitored swimming pool still at the property. However, the Board approved a variance for the Fleming residence. The fence used for the Fleming’s is designed to be the standard for anyone whose property backs up to fencelines on Curtis and wishes for more privacy. Check the Projects Tab for more.

County News
The Johnson County Emergency Services District just replaced the Executive Director with Tom Foster. Tom spent over 30 years with the Burleson Fire Department as Assistance Chief before retiring last fall. He brings a strong work ethic to the ESD and has a wealth of experience that will help our volunteer departments.
